I was invited by my dearest friend, Heather, to attend her parents' 40th anniversary and her welcoming party after returning from Indonesia at her hometown, Missouri. This visit was a truly mid-west-American experience. The food, the conversation with a truck driver @ a roadside and the party itself are a different experience from the one I get in NY. I enjoyed this trip A LOT :) Most of it because of the warm-hearted, welcoming family that invited me... d Linvilles..
